Health Markers
Fasting Insulin
A blood test of your insulin level after not eating, a window into metabolic health.
Fasting insulin measures how much insulin your body needs at rest. High fasting insulin can show up years before blood sugar problems do, making it a useful early signal of insulin resistance. It is one of the labs Dr. Berry highlights for understanding your metabolic health.
