Health Markers

A1C (HbA1c)

A blood test showing your average blood sugar over the past few months.

A1C, or HbA1c, reflects your average blood sugar over roughly three months. It is a key marker for diabetes and metabolic health. Many people see their A1C improve after lowering carbohydrates, ideally tracked with their physician. Dr. Berry's Common Sense Labs explains markers like this in plain English.
