Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 31, 2026
We want everyone to feel welcome here. This statement explains how we work to make DrBerry.com easy to use for people of all abilities, and how you can reach us if something gets in your way.
Our commitment
DrBerry.com is operated by Dr. Ken Berry, MD. We believe good health information should be available to everyone, no matter how you browse the web.
We are committed to making this site usable for people of all abilities, including those who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, or other assistive tools.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is a widely recognized set of standards for making websites easier to use for people with disabilities.
These guidelines help us build pages that are easier to see, hear, navigate, and understand.
What we do to make this site accessible
We build accessibility into how the site is designed and coded. Some of the steps we take include:
- Using clean, semantic HTML so the structure of each page is clear to assistive tools.
- Supporting full keyboard navigation so you can move through the site without a mouse.
- Choosing color combinations with sufficient contrast so text is easy to read.
- Adding descriptive alt text to images that carry meaning.
- Respecting your reduced-motion settings, so animations are minimized if you prefer less movement.
- Designing a responsive, mobile-friendly layout that adapts to your screen and device.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort
Accessibility is never truly finished. As we add new content and features, we keep checking our work and looking for ways to improve.
We review the site over time and make updates as standards evolve and as we learn what works best for you.
Known limitations and third-party content
Some parts of this site include content from other companies, such as embedded videos or tools. We do not always control how that content is built, so it may not fully meet our accessibility goals.
When we notice a barrier we can fix, we work to improve it or offer another way for you to get the same information.
Give us feedback or report a problem
If you run into something that is hard to use, please tell us. Email us at info@drberry.com and let us know which page you were on and what gave you trouble.
We will work to fix the problem promptly and, where we can, help you get the information you were looking for in the meantime.
We welcome your input
Your experience helps us make this site better for everyone. We are always glad to hear how we can improve, so please do not hesitate to reach out at info@drberry.com.
