HDL Cholesterol

Often called good cholesterol, which frequently improves on a low-carb diet.

HDL is the cholesterol marker usually called good, and it often rises on a low-carb, higher-fat way of eating. Along with triglycerides, it is part of the bigger metabolic picture your doctor can help you read.
